A native Floridian, Renard McFarland was born and grew up in Winter Garden, Fl. He gratuated from Lakeview High School and later went on to further his education at Valencia Community College. As a teenager and under the leadership of Brother Fenton Martin, he was added to the body of Christ at the 9th Street Church of Christ congregation.

Renard has been preaching the gospel for 37 years. He labored at the Gadsen Street Church of Christ in Groveland, FL for 4 years and also worked with the Newark Church of Christ in Newark, NJ with Brother Eugene Lawton for 4 years. He is currently serving his 16th year as the minister of the 10th Street Church of Christ located in Apopka, FL.

Renard has been married to his wife Maxine for 36 years. During their years together, God has blessed them with three children, Renata, Renard, Jr. and Rhonda and 8 grandchildren.
